Public Notice: Anheuser-Busch, LLC Draft Permit

Pursuant to the New Hampshire Code of Administrative Rules, Env-A 622.02, notice is hereby given that the Director of the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, Air Resources Division (Director), has received an application for a Title V Operating Permit from, and based on the information received to date, intends to issue such Title V Operating Permit to:

Anheuser-Busch, LLC (the Facility) operates a malt beverage manufacturing facility in Merrimack, New Hampshire. Operations include grains handling/processing, beer brewing, packaging, and supporting utilities. The primary sources of emissions at the Facility are two boilers, a malt beverage production process, a grain milling and weighing system, and a Bio Energy Recovery System (BERS). The Facility is a major source for sulfur dioxide (SO2), carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen oxides (NOx) and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and is therefore required to obtain a Title V Operating Permit.

Box 95, Concord, NH 03302-0095, (603) 271-1370. The application and draft permit are available through the NHDES OneStop online database (DES Interest ID: 3301100017). Requests for a public hearing and/or written comments filed with the Director in accordance with Env-A 622.05, and received no later than April 16, 2024, shall be considered by the Director in making a final decision.
