Public Hearing: NHDES Application #2023-00026

The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services Wetlands Bureau (NHDES) is providing notice of a public hearing scheduled for December 18, 2023, commencing at 3:30 PM. The hearing will be held at NHDES, 29 Hazen Drive, Conference Room 208C, Concord, NH. The record will be left open for public comment until January 13, 2024.

The purpose of this public hearing is to receive public comments regarding NHDES application #2023-00026, submitted by Coastal Bow Properties LLC, requesting to dredge and fill 77,912 square feet with palustrine forested wetlands; 3,963 square feet within ephemeral streams (impacting 521 linear feet) and retain 304 square feet of after-the-fact impacts within palustrine scrub-shrub wetlands for the multi-phase expansion of an industrial development. Proposed state compensatory mitigation for jurisdictional impacts, including impacts to priority resource areas, consists of the permanent conservation of the eastern 40 acres of Bow Tax Map 29, Lot 121, Block 2, located at 63 Robinson Road through a conservation easement held by Bow Open Spaces.

The location of the proposed project is 652 River Rd, Bow, Tax Map #45, Lot #2-173.

The public hearing will be digitally recorded and made part of NHDES application #2023-00026.
