Flushable Items

What’s Flushable? Only human waste and toilet paper are flushable!
Product labels can be misleading:
- “Flushable” does not mean it is safe for your septic system or sewer. They can clog your system and be expensive to fix!
- “Disposable” items are not flushable and should go in the trash.
Trash – do not flush the following items:
- Wipes.
- Feminine Hygiene Products.
- Facial tissues.
- Diapers.
- Cigarettes.
- Cotton swabs.
- Dental floss.
- Toys.
