Description:
The attendees will meet at a Transfer Station where they will partner with NHDES Solid Waste Inspectors to conduct a BMP Inspection using the Self-Inspection Checklists created specifically for transfer station operators. The checklists were created to help operators determine if their waste collection methods comply with applicable rules.
The class will be held at the Hollis Transfer Station and Stump Dump. This class will also include information on food waste composting at a municipal transfer station in New Hampshire.
