Env-Wq 1500 DRAFT RULES: Amendments to Alteration of Terrain Rules regarding potential impacts to threatened or endangered species.

In accordance with RSA 541-a:11, VIII, the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services is soliciting public comment on a subject matter of possible rulemaking under active consideration prior to formally proposing rules in the rulemaking process. 

NHDES is providing notice of a Public Hearing scheduled on April 8, 2021 beginning at 2:00 p.m. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the hearing will be conducted remotely. Information regarding accessing the Public Hearing and submitting comments can be found in the REQUEST FOR ADVANCE PUBLIC COMMENT. Please note that the public hearing will be held jointly with the NH Fish and Game Department. Information of the draft rules are located on the NH Fish & Game Department Rulemaking webpage. 

NHDES encourages members of the public to submit written comments regarding the proposed rules via e-mail to Pamela Monroe at pamela.g.monroe@des.nh.gov. Written comments may also be submitted by first-class mail to NHDES, PO Box 95, Concord, NH 03302. The deadline for submitting written comments is 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2021.
