Vanguard Renewables is changing the way the world views waste and how we power our lives. Working alongside farms to manage manure and enhance regenerative agriculture practices, the company operates six anaerobic co-digesters (manure + food waste) in New England and plans to build 30 more in 14 states over the next three years. Participants will learn about Vanguard Renewables' unique partnerships and how its technology converts biogas into renewable natural gas (RNG), electricity, and tons of environmental benefits. You will also learn about some of the challenges of recycling food waste to fight global warming and the science of anaerobic co-digestion.

The speaker:
Billy Connelly, Organics Market Manager for Vermont, New Hampshire and Maine. Billy manages partnerships with commercial food and beverage manufacturers to recycle their organics into renewable energy.
