Attendees will learn about construction and demolition (C&D) debris and asbestos, what can and cannot be burned in a burn pile, ash management, and alternatives to open burning. Topics that have been added to this 2020 web version of this class are Category IV permit requirements including information pertaining to transfer stations and fire weather, recommended burn days and smoke management. Instructors are from the NHDES Waste Management and Air Resources Divisions and Department of Natural & Cultural Resources.
