River Monitoring Network (RMN)

A map of the river monitoring station locations throughout New Hampshire. The River Monitoring Network (RMN) is a collection of 40 river and stream monitoring stations scattered across New Hampshire. The stations are monitored for a variety of indicators annually to track the status and trends of water quality conditions. The data is used to produce a summary report once every five years. Individual monitoring site reports provide a more detailed evaluation of water quality conditions. Collectively, these efforts are an integral part of NHDES' Water Monitoring Strategy and generate valuable long-term data records across the range of river and stream types found in New Hampshire.
