Lamprey River
Water Management Plan

The water management plan is created to describe how water users will operate to satisfy their water use needs while also maintaining protected flow conditions, and how dam owners will manage their dams to maintain flow downstream. The plan is developed by water users, dam owners and other interest groups to propose management strategies and alternatives to support the calculated protected instream flows. Management actions are taken after stream flows fall under the defined thresholds for extended durations of time.

The Water Management Plan (linked below) documents the conservation plans, water use plans and dam management plans which direct management actions to be taken during extended periods when stream flow is lower than the protected instream flow threshold.
