Auto Body/Collision Repair Assistance

New Hampshire has over 400 auto body, collision repair and restoration facilities. All of these facilities are hazardous waste generators and are subject to EPA's National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants: Paint Stripping and Miscellaneous Surface Coating Operations at Area Sources - 40 CFR Part 63 Subpart HHHHHH and NHDES Env-A 1400 Regulated Toxic Air Pollutants, as well as other local, state and federal environmental regulations.

Through compliance assistance and pollution prevention opportunities, SBTAP can help auto body/collision repair/restoration facilities to reduce emissions and waste, encourage compliance with environmental regulations, and create a healthier environment for workers and the state.
