NHGS Online Data

NHDES OneStop Data Retrieval

The NHGS maintains the state's well records and electronic database, typically collecting and entering more than 5,000 records per year from the NH Water Well Board. Presently, the database contains more than 112,000 water well records for the NHDES, of which more than 52,000 are geo-referenced. (09/18/08)

Geospatial Data

Geospatial geologic and hydrologic data (as well as other geospatial data) created by the NHGS are available at the state's geospatial data repository, NH GRANIT. The NHGS is continuously refining and improving our data sets, and we strive to make new programmatic information available as soon as possible. Please call the NHGS at (603) 271-7332 or send an email to, if you do not find the geologic geospatial data that you need at NH GRANIT. Some available files are not yet listed on the NH GRANIT website.
