Stakeholders Invited to Technical Listening Session on Establishing Soil Remediation Standards for Four PFAS

Concord, NH – The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services will host a technical listening session for stakeholders to provide input on establishing Soil Remediation Standards (SRS) for the four per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) currently regulated in groundwater and drinking water: perfluorooctane sulfonic acid (PFOS), perfluorohexane sulfonic acid (PFHxS), perfluoronanonoic acid (PFNA), and perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA).

The session will begin with a brief presentation on the technical challenges involved with establishing PFAS SRS, followed by an opportunity for stakeholders to provide oral comments to NHDES, including technical opinions regarding means/methods or concerns and considerations.
