Public Notice: Permit to Add Aluminum Compounds to Nippo Lake, Barrington
Pursuant Env-Wq 301.06 and Env-C 205, notice is hereby given that the NHDES Water Division has received a complete application for a state surface water discharge permit, as a demonstration project, to apply aluminum compounds in Nippo Lake, Barrington, NH to control the growth of algae in the lake. The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comment on the proposal submitted by:

The application and draft permit are on file with the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services, Water Division, 29 Hazen Drive, P.O. Box 95, Concord, NH 03302-0095, (603) 271-8865. The draft permit is available online or by contacting David Neils, Chief Aquatic Biologist, at the above phone number. This public comment period opens March 19, 2021, and closes May 7, 2021.
