NHDES is Still Conducting Business During Stay-at-Home Order

Concord, NH – To protect public health by reducing possible community transmission of the COVID-19 virus, Governor Chris Sununu announced a Stay-at-Home Order for New Hampshire directing all non-essential businesses that have not already closed to end in-person and public interactions by 11:59 PM on Friday, March 27, 2020. The Order will remain in effect until May 4, 2020. Under the Order, all state government is considered essential and will remain open. During this time, most of NHDES staff are working remotely. Contacting staff via email is recommended. While this provides for some challenges, the health and well-being of our staff (and our many customers and stakeholders) remains our top priority. NHDES does not expect this to cause any significant delays in completing work under our statutory guidelines and timeframe.
