New Hampshire Drought Management Team (DMT) Meeting on Monday, August 8, 2022

Concord, NH – In response to continued concerns regarding the current drought, the Hampshire Drought Management Team (DMT) will meet on Monday, August 8, 2022. Despite recent precipitation, most of the state is designated as experiencing drought and about 13% of the state is in severe drought. Continued low groundwater levels and stream flows underscore the importance of continued water conservation both outdoors and indoors. The New Hampshire DMT will meet at the NHDES/DHHS Auditorium at 29 Hazen Drive in Concord. The media are welcome to attend. The public will have an opportunity to listen in via Teams link (see below). At the meeting, an overview of drought conditions and impacts in the state will be discussed with key representatives across the state and federal government, academia, industry and other organizations.
