Clean Vessel Act Program Announces Start Date for Mobile Pumpout Service

Concord, NH -- The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES) Clean Vessel Act Program manages a mobile pumpout boat that travels in New Hampshire’s coastal waters to pump holding tanks of recreational boats. The service start date this year will be Monday May 16, 2022. If you need a pumpout before this date, use stationary pumpout facilities.

The service area of the mobile pumpout boat includes (but is not limited to) Hampton Harbor, Piscataqua River and Great Bay. Pumpouts will be performed roughly in the order they are requested but grouped by location as much as possible. To request a pumpout, call (603) 670-5130 every time a pumpout is needed.
