New Hampshire Celebrates 9th Annual National Drive Electric Week
Electric Vehicle Event in Concord, NH

Concord, NH - One of six New Hampshire National Drive Electric Week celebrations is planned for Saturday, September 14th, at City Plaza in Concord (in front of the State House). Event organizers, including Drive Electric NH, Electric Auto Association, Granite State Clean Cities Coalition, New Hampshire Automobile Dealers Association, New Hampshire Sierra Club and Plug-In America, have partnered to bring this annual nationwide observance to 313 events nationwide and abroad to draw attention to the economic, environmental, and other benefits of electric vehicles.

The Concord celebration takes place from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. next to the famed Concord Farmer's Market. Electric cars such as the Chevy Volt & Bolt, Hyundai Kona, Nissan Leaf, Tesla Model 3 & Roadster will be on display, as well as related electric and solar technology.

Information and materials will be on hand regarding electric cars and their environmental benefits, vehicle charging information and other electric technology. It's a terrific opportunity to learn about EVs in an informal and informational setting … you might even get to drive one! This event is free to the public and open to all.

Other National Drive Electric Week events in New Hampshire will be held in Keene on September 14th at the Monadnock Food Co-op, in Exeter on September 15th at the Exeter Town Hall Parking Lot (& bandstand), in Plymouth on September 19th at the Common Man Inn & Spa, in Nashua on September 21st at the Nashua Public Library, and in Portsmouth on September 22nd at the Bridge Street Parking Lot.
