NEW HAMPSHIRE CELEBRATES 8th ANNUAL
NATIONAL DRIVE ELECTRIC WEEK
Electric Car Event in Concord, NH

Concord, NH – One of six New Hampshire National Drive Electric Week celebrations is planned for Saturday, September 8th, at City Plaza in Concord (in front of the State House). Event organizers including Drive Electric NH, Electric Auto Association, Granite State Clean Cities Coalition, New Hampshire Automobile Dealers Association, New Hampshire Sierra Club and Plug-In America have partnered to bring this annual nationwide observance to 252 events nationwide and abroad to draw attention to the economic, environmental, and other benefits of electric vehicles.

The Concord celebration takes place from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. next to the famed Concord Farmer's Market. Electric cars such as the BMW i3, Chevy Volt & Bolt, Honda Clarity, Nissan Leaf, Tesla Roadster and more will be on display, as well as other related electric technology.

Information and materials will be on hand regarding electric cars and their environmental benefits, vehicle charging information and other electric technology. It's a terrific opportunity to learn about EVs in an informal and informational setting … you might even get to drive one! This event is free to the public and open to all.

Other National Drive Electric Week events in New Hampshire will be held in New London on September 9th at the New London Historical Society, in Portsmouth on September 9th at the City Hall/Police Dept. Lower Parking Lot, in Plymouth on September 13th at the Common Man Inn, in Keene on September 15th at Keene Ice Arena, and in Exeter on September 16th at the Exeter Town Hall Parking Lot (& bandstand).
