New Hampshire Celebrates 6th Annual National Drive Electric Week
Electric Car Exhibit in Concord, NH

Concord, NH – One of four National Drive Electric Week celebrations is planned for Saturday, September 9th, at City Plaza in Concord (in front of the State House). Event organizers including ConVerdant Vehicles, Granite State Clean Cities Coalition, New Hampshire Automobile Dealers Association, Electric Auto Association, Plug-In America and the New Hampshire Sierra Club have partnered to bring this annual nationwide observance to 241 events nationwide and abroad as a means to draw attention to the environmental, economic and other benefits of plug-in electric vehicles.

The Concord celebration takes place from 8:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. during the Concord Farmer's Market. Electric cars such as the Chevy Volt, Nissan Leaf, BMW i3, Tesla Model S and others will be on display, as well as charging stations, electric bicycles and more.

Information will be on hand regarding electric cars and their environmental benefits, vehicle charging information and details of other technology. Learn more about electric achievements in New Hampshire and upcoming events. Open and free to the public.

Other National Drive Electric Week events in New Hampshire will be held in Plymouth on September 14 at the Common Man Inn and Spa, in Durham on September 16 at Wagon Hill Farm and in Portsmouth on September 16 at the Red Hook Brewery. Visit for details.
