A panel of women who are employed in New Hampshire’s solid waste industry will discuss what it has been like for them to break into a field that in the past has been thought of as a male's profession. The panelists come from all different backgrounds and hold different positions in New Hampshire solid waste facilities. They will discuss their own work experiences and how those experiences have influenced their careers. The purpose of this workshop is to encourage women to get more involved with the industry-side of solid waste; and educate attendees on what challenges may exist for women in the solid waste field & how to overcome them.
Attendees will receive 2.5 hours of CPD for this workshop.
