Course Description: The NHDES Drinking Water & Groundwater Bureau, in conjunction with the New Hampshire Water Works Association (NHWWA), is pleased to offer this educational course for owners, operators and other persons currently involved in, or looking to become involved in, the management and operation of small public drinking water systems. The course is designed to provide fundamentals on the theory and practical knowledge required to maintain and operate a small public water system. The course is specifically geared toward individuals interested in becoming certified water works operators in the State of New Hampshire. No prior experience is required to launch your career in the public water sector!
Instructors include industry veterans and certified NH water works operators. Be sure to have a notebook, a pencil and a calculator at each class. Ten training contact hours (10 TCHs) will be awarded upon completion of the course. Partial credit is not given for partial attendance. No additional contact hours will be awarded for the optional math review.
Registration: Registration is $50 per person, which includes the course textbook and handouts. The registration deadline is 12 PM on September 13, 2021. Register through NHWWA's website or by mailing payment to:
