Audience: Community water systems (CWS) serving greater than 3,300 people, wastewater systems, government officials, and all others involved in water sector emergency planning including all EPA Region 1 water systems, vendors and consultants, especially those who are assisting CWSs in achieving the requirements of America's Water Infrastructure Act (AWIA) Section 2013.

Description: According to AWIA, community water systems serving more than 3,300 people are required to conduct a risk and resilience assessment, use the results to update an emergency response plan, and certify to EPA this work has been completed. Learn more about how to certify completion of the upcoming emergency response plan with an upcoming due date of December 30, 2021.
