Look Out for Harmful Algal Blooms

The official beach monitoring season has come to an end, but we do continue to receive and investigate reports of harmful algal blooms (HABs) throughout the fall. If you suspect a waterbody is experiencing a bloom, call or text the hotline at (603) 848-8094 or email HAB@des.nh.gov. Stay up-to-date on cyanobacteria advisories by checking our Beach Advisory Map.

RFP for EV Charging Infrastructure

NHDES has released a Request for Proposals (RFP) for electric vehicle charging infrastructure through the Volkswagen Environmental Mitigation Trust. The goal of this RFP is to support the installation of Direct Current Fast Charging and co-located Level 2 electric vehicle supply equipment on key travel corridors in New Hampshire.
