  Shellfish Program

    For the Recreational Harvester:
    Weekly Open/Closed Status

Areas such as Hampton/Seabrook Harbor are open on a conditional (rainfall) basis. Thus, the open/closed status changes from week to week. Weekly updates can be obtained by calling the "Clam Hotline" (1-800-43-CLAMS). The Hotline is generally updated by mid-afternoon of each Friday during the harvesting season. Harvesters are encouraged to call frequently for updated information. Closure announcements may also be viewed at wildlife.state.nh.us/Fishing.
