Members of the LRAC are residents of Durham, Lee, Epping, and Newmarket.
The LRAC is a permanent citizens' committee created through the NH Rivers
Management and Protection Program for the State-protected segment of the
Lamprey River in Lee and Durham. Lee and Durham each have five members
who are appointed for three-year terms. Representatives from Newmarket
and Epping are serving as volunteers for a federal Wild and Scenic study
of the Lamprey River in the four towns.
Preparation of this Plan was supported by funding and staff from the
National Park Service and the NH Department of Environmental Services.
