Mercury Vendors-Recyclers, Fever Thermometers, Spill Kits

NHPPP compiled a vendor list of companies who recycle thermostats, fluorescent lamps and ballasts, and mercury brokers and recyclers. There is also a list of vendors who supply mercury spill kits and mercury free thermometers. This is not a complete list of vendors, nor does it imply endorsement from DES.

Thermostat Recycling Program (TRC)
NHPPP has purchased TRC bins and provides them free of charge to participating HVAC suppliers and contractors. This link lists participants with thermostat collection/recycling bins.

Fluorescent Lamp and Ballast Recycling Facilities

Mercury Brokers and Recyclers
Provides mercury disposal options and participating mercury waste brokers/recyclers, listed by US EPA Region 1 in a memo outlined in June 1999.
