Renewal of Hazardous Waste Transfer Facility Permit Tradebe Treatment and Recycling Northeast, LLC

Pursuant to NH Administrative Rules Env-Hw 304.21 of the New Hampshire Hazardous Waste Rules, the New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services (NHDES), Waste Management Division hereby gives Public Notice that Tradebe Treatment and Recycling Northeast, LLC (Tradebe), 410 Shattuck Way, Newington, NH, has submitted a complete application for renewal of their Hazardous Waste Transfer Facility Permit. This notice is also being given regarding the draft of their renewed permit. Tradebe is an existing Hazardous Waste Transfer Facility that currently transports, bulks and stores hazardous waste. These hazardous wastes are then transported to an off site permitted hazardous waste facility within 10 days or less.

The application and draft permit are available for review at the following locations: NHDES’ office, 29 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH, by appointment only at (603) 271-2919; and Langdon Public Library, 328 Nimble Hill Road, Newington, NH, during regular library hours. An interested party may also email hwpermits@des.nh.gov to receive an electronic copy of the application or draft permit.

A 45-day public comment period for the application and draft permit shall extend through the close of business on September 6, 2022. During the comment period, any person may submit written comments and a public hearing may be requested in writing. All comments and requests shall be made in writing and shall include the name and affiliation of the person making the comment or request, as well as a short statement regarding the need for a hearing if so requested. All comments shall be duly considered in the permit application review process and NHDES shall respond to comments as set forth in Env-Hw 304.21. If a public hearing is requested and determined to be warranted, it will be held virtually on September 13, at 10:00 AM.
