Lamprey River Proposed Protected Instream Flow
Public Hearing in Lee at Lee Safety Center

Concord, NH - The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services will host a public hearing on the completed Lamprey Proposed Protected Instream Flow Report. The public hearing will be held at Lee Safety Center, 20 George Bennett Road, Lee, NH on January 14, 2008 from 6:30 pm to 9 pm. DES will accept public comment for 30 days after the hearing. DES shall consider the public comments received in any revisions to the protected instream flow levels the Lamprey River.

The meeting will be held jointly with the NH Senate Energy, Environment and Economic Development Committee, Wildlife, Fish and Game Committee; and the NH House of Representatives Resources, Recreation and Development Committee.

Copies of the Lamprey Protected Instream Flow Report are available for review. Compact discs containing the report in .pdf format are available from DES on request. The report is also available for review or as a free CD at: DES Public Information Center in Concord, Lee Public Library and Durham Public Library. The report may also be downloaded from the DES website at
