The Water Quality Standards Information Exchange is a revue for NHDES to share information and receive feedback from the public pertinent to RSA 485-A:8-10 and Env-Wq 1700. At the June 13 meeting, NHDES staff will share legislative and budget updates. EPA will share an update of water quality standards work at the federal level. The bulk of this meeting will then be focused on the draft updates to Env-Wq 1700 highlighting planned changes to the arsenic human health criteria, approach to implementing updated aluminum criteria and changes to Env-Wq 1705.02, which covers Dilution and Conditions for Permitting.
