Blanketing Trees

How do you blanket trees?

Blanketing trees involves the placement of boards around the bole of the tree to prevent accidental injury to the tree from construction activities.

This is an easy process. Boards are placed around the trunk of the tree and tied with wire in two or three places (the wire going around the boards). After construction is finished, the wire is cut, the boards fall away and can be used elsewhere.
