New Hampshire Climate Change Policy Task Force

Schedule and Public Engagement

The New Hampshire Climate Change Action Plan development process is guided by the Governor’s Climate Change Policy Task Force and supported by six Technical and Policy Working Groups. The development process is open and transparent to the public with opportunities to observe and provide input throughout the process.

The schedule for Task Force meetings as well as Working Group conference calls and meetings will be posted online and updated regularly over the next few months. The public is welcome to attend meetings and listen in on conference calls and to provide input at the end of each session as time allows. People are also encouraged to share their views directly with the DES staff coordinating the plan development process. In the case of the conference calls, a conference room and phone will be set up at the Concord offices of the Department of Environmental Services at 29 Hazen Drive. A DES staff person will be available 10 minutes before the start of the conference call to meet any interested individuals and bring them to the appropriate room. Members of the public are asked to listen to the discussion and save their input until the end of the call.

Following the development of the New Hampshire Climate Change Action Plan Draft, there will be a series of public listening sessions held around the state in early July. During these meetings, residents will be able comment on the draft Action Plan’s recommendations and scope. These comments will be used to refine the plan before its final submission to the Governor on September 1.
